Role Overview
Working at American Express as a Business Analyst-Data Analytics, you will be crucial in examining consumer behavior, developing business insights, and using advanced analytics to support partnership and product strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Build opportunity landscapes to support negotiations with new benefit partners.
- Use data analytics and advanced statistical models to understand customer behavior and market competition.
- Help strengthen partner relationships and support renegotiations with existing partners.
- Set up robust MIS dashboards and track benefit performance from both Amex and partner perspective.
- Identify emerging industries and merchants to support loyalty and benefit strategies.
- Share analytics-driven insights with Product, Lending, and Business Development teams to shape product strategy.
What You’ll Need to Succeed (Skills & Requirements)
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔ Knowledge of Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics, and Research Methods.
✔ Excellent communication – both written and verbal.
✔ Bachelor’s Degree (required) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields.
✔ Master’s Degree (preferred) in relevant quantitative fields.
✔ Hands-on experience in SQL, SAS, Big Data analytics, and statistical tools.
✔ Ability to translate raw data into meaningful business insights.
