Educational Qualification

• Applicants must hold a full-time 4-year B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized university or institute.
• Eligible engineering disciplines include:

Work Experience

• Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as of August 1, 2025.
• The experience should be specifically in the areas of:
  • Installation and commissioning of Electronics/Electrical systems.
  • Integration of Electronic/Embedded systems for various projects.
• Internships, academic projects, teaching, or research experience will not be counted as professional experience.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for General and EWS candidates is 32 years as of August 1, 2025.
• Relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable as per government rules:
  • 3 years for OBC candidates.
  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
  • 10 years for PwBD candidates (in addition to category-wise relaxation).

• The initial appointment is for three years, with the possibility of a one-year extension, making the maximum tenure four years.

Monthly Consolidated Pay

• 1st Year: ₹40,000/-
• 2nd Year: ₹45,000/-
• 3rd Year: ₹50,000/-
• 4th Year (on extension): ₹55,000/-

Additional Allowances

• An extra consolidated allowance of ₹12,000 per year will be provided to cover:
  • Medical insurance premium
  • Life insurance
  • Uniform and stitching charges
  • Footwear allowance

Retention Bonus

One of the most attractive features of this role is the Retention Bonus.

• Project Engineers who successfully complete the full 4-year tenure will be rewarded with ₹25,000 per completed year, adding up to a total of ₹1,00,000 at the end of the contract.

The recruitment of Project Engineer-I will follow a two-tier selection process to evaluate candidates’ technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and overall suitability for the role.

Tier 1: Written Test

• All eligible applicants will appear for a Written Examination carrying 85 marks.
• The test will primarily consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from:
  • Core engineering subjects (based on the candidate’s discipline).
  • General aptitude (analytical, reasoning, and basic quantitative skills).
• Detailed information regarding the exam pattern, syllabus, and marking scheme will be mentioned in the admit card/call letter.
• Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly in their core technical subjects for better performance.

Tier 2: Interview

• Candidates who qualify in the Written Test will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio (five candidates per vacancy) based on their written exam merit, category-wise.
• The Interview carries 15 marks and will assess:
  • Technical knowledge
  • Practical/project experience
  • Problem-solving & communication skills
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • General/EWS/OBC: 35% (both in Written Test & Interview)
  • SC/ST/PwBD: 30% (both in Written Test & Interview)
