📘 Educational Qualification

• Assistant Section Officer (ASO):
  Must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Planning Assistant:
  A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.
• Junior Statistical Assistant:
  Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, or Statistics from a recognized university.
• Data Entry Operator (Grade-C):
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university along with PGDCA / BCA / B.Sc. (IT) or equivalent.
  • Candidates with B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering or B.Tech in Information Technology are also eligible.
• Auditor (Directorate of Audit, Finance Department):
  A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics from a recognized university.
• Auditor (Co-operative Societies, Co-operation Department):
  A Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics or a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized university.

⏳ Age Limit (as on 1st August 2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years (for all categories).
• Maximum Age:
  • Unreserved (Male): 37 years
  • Unreserved (Female): 40 years
  • Backward Class (BC) / Extremely Backward Class (EBC) (Male & Female): 40 years
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) (Male & Female): 42 years
  • Persons with Disability (PwD): 10 years relaxation in the upper age limit for their respective categories.

💰 Pay Level & Salary Structure

• Pay Level 7: Basic pay ranges from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400.
• Pay Level 5: Basic pay ranges from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300.

📝 Tier 1: Preliminary Examination (CBT)

The first stage is a Computer-Based Test (CBT). This exam is qualifying in nature, and candidates must clear it to move forward.

• Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes

📘 Tier 2: Main Examination

Candidates who qualify in the prelims will be eligible to appear for the Mains Exam, which consists of two papers.

  • Minimum 30% marks required to qualify
  • Only if candidates pass Paper 1, their Paper 2 will be evaluated.

  • The exam pattern is similar to the Preliminary Examination.
